Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are creative, thoughtful, and full of questions! Our classroom is filled with 20 diverse students who are eager and excited to learn everyday. Our school is a Title I school located in Charlotte, North Carolina. My kindergarten students come from a low socioeconomic background. Each of my students love learning through hands-on and engaging activities. As their teacher, I feel it is my responsibility to make sure that all my students are engaged in their learning while creating a safe and comfortable atmosphere for learning. I like to incorporate a variety of learning strategies, group work, and learning options to ensure that each student's needs are met. They are truly an incredible group.

My Project

The students need these snacks to help them fuel their brains and stay focused throughout the learning day. My students are in school for a long day. My students need snacks to fuel their brains, help them focus, and keep them awake, learning, and growing. These snacks will keep their bellies full and their brains fueled for long learning day. We have high expectations for all students and big goals for our students and these snacks will help keep these goals on track. My students have snack time every day. This time helps keeps my students engaged, motivated, and cared for. By donating to our project, you will help to improve and increase student attention and focus and set my students up for success!
