Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I work in a low income district where we are starting to get many newcomer students. Many of my students do not have snacks or lunch daily. I want to create a snack cart that allows students to have snack items. They will be able to fill their lunch boxes with snacks and be able to eat breakfast daily in the classroom. Cereal bars, chips, and more would allow my students to have snacks for school and home, keeping hunger away. Snacks would allow our newcomers to stay in school and be full for a focused education.
