This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I tutor a group of 12 kindergarten students' afterschool. Many of my students are hungry after a long day of school and at times we do not have snacks therefore it is more difficult to keep them focus since they are hungry. Having a snack for them before the lesson will get them ready to learn and afterschool will be cozier. My goal is that my students can have a snack before beginning tutoring and that they won't go hungry. My students are kind, funny, respectful and loving. They love spending time afterschool and are always eager to learn. Overall, I want tutoring to be a great experience for them.
