Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Many of my students stay for after-school programs for academic support, enrichment opportunities, and a safe, structured environment. I have after-school programs twice a week and hunger can be a challenge after a long day, and providing snacks helps keep them focused and ready to engage in all the fun and learning. To help them stay energized and motivated during enrichment activities, I'm requesting snacks that will enhance their experience. Providing snacks will ensure scholars have the fuel they need to participate fully in both academic support and creative activities.
Snacks will help maintain their focus, while the fun materials will ensure that their time after school is both productive and enjoyable.
This will create a positive, well-rounded after-school experience that will help them grow both academically and socially.
