This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I will be working with my ENL and Students with Disabilities in an after school program to help improve their vocabulary and reading comprehension. We will be staying after school for an additional two hours. My students have lunch early and sometimes they skip eating, which means, by 3 o'clock, they will need a little something to hold them over until they go home at 5 p.m.
My students need healthy snacks and drinks to help keep us focused in our after school program.
I would love to be able to provide these snacks to help keep my kids fueled and motivated.
