Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My students are 6th graders who work hard during the day. We have a very early lunch at our school. So by the time the end of the day comes, my students are very hungry. They need snacks to help them get through the day until they go home.

My students needs to snacks to help them make it through the second half of the day when they start to get hungry.

Having snacks for them in the afternoon helps them stay focused on their work in the afternoon. Making sure that they are given a snack is important.

Also, we need a gathering bean bag chair, so students can gather around as we read each day. It will be used by myself and the students as they do presentations with their classmates.
