Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our daily schedule has us eating lunch at 10AM each day, which means by the afternoon, students are hungry. Hungry students cannot learn or focus.
I would love to provide my students with a snack closet to ensure that nobody is hungry if they are not able to bring their own snack daily.
Students and families have so many other daily stresses that I do not want them to worry about snack. I have included a variety of snacks such as granola bars, pop tarts, pretzels etc for students to select from. Projects like these that meet basic needs are the most essential for student learning!
