My Project

One of the hardest parts of a teacher’s job sometimes is getting students to remain motivated and interested. While some students are eager to learn and receiving a little praise is enough of a reward for them, others need treats and prizes for positive reinforcement. Even though candy is only a small reward, our students seem to love snacks and it makes a big difference: you’ll see them putting in more effort, and the more effort the students put in, the more effective the learning they receive will be. Although the teachers enjoy rewarding students for the hard work they continue to do, it is not financially feasible for us to continue to fund the snacks out of our own pockets.

If my project is funded, the snacks will allow me to provide snacks for the entire math department to treat our students who show academic growth and achievement.

Our mathematicians deserve to be rewarded with the treats they crave when they soar and hit their goals!
