My Project
My special education students are using so much brain power in their day that they get hungry easily. They often think better, are more engaged, and are able to focus on the lesson when they aren't focusing on being hungry. These simple and easy snacks are handy to have when my students need a snack.
My special education students benefit from breaks throughout their day and these calm down timers and sensory tools are the perfect way to help get them regulated to go back to class.
They will benefit from these calm down corner tools, like weighted lap pads and plush toys, to help them when they need a break from the rigorous classroom.
