This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are a fantastic group. I look at them and see students with so much potential. They have made so much progress this year and for that they should be very proud of themselves. I've noticed that in the afternoon, the work has become more difficult for the students. They seem withdrawn and unmotivated. I've realized this lack of enthusiasm is hunger.
This donation will provide snacks for my students so they can push through hard tasks.
The students that have their bellies full will also have minds on fire with possibilities and opportunities.
