My Project
I run many different clubs on different days like Robotics Club and Korean Club. I am a math teacher but I try my best to provide a healthy environment to do something productive together to strengthen their mental health and stay away from troubles.
When students have passion on something, they are less involved with dramas, troubles, and negative mental health.
This is my 4th years of having Korean Club and 3rd year of having Robotics Club and both successfully throughout those years. I even want to open up a new Club like Sewing Club to let my students enjoy something together in a safe and productive environment.
One thing I noticed to be able to run many activities successfully is that I need to feed my students. In the past years, I've been using my own money to feed my students or run fundraising to raise money to buy them food.
With your support of providing snack, I will be able to hold them after school to do STEM-related activity, learn new language, or do hands-on activities. I believe that more students I have in my clubs will reduce the number of likelihood of mental health issue and troubles they many face from engaging in other activities like dramas, media addiction, and streets activity.
