Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Allergy season can take a toll on us all. I enjoy having all my students in class regularly and when the allergy season is here many of my students suffer a great deal. They tend to have runny noses, sneezing, and coughing and then that leads to absences.

The snacks and the cleaning supplies that I am requesting will help my students be more energetic and be in a healthier cleaner classroom environment.

The items that you are providing will allow for my students to have a snack in the middle of the day as they have a very late lunch.

Donating to my project will help my students to focus, be energetic and provide them with a healthier environment. All this will lead to higher student achievement. Students will be able to focus on the lesson at hand and be more receptive to learning because they are not worried about being hungry. The wipes and tissues will assist during allergy season and the classrooms clean and minimize germs from spreading. Thus, they will not have as many absences from school due to common infections.
