This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

There are a ton of snacks that students can earn through active participation and learning. Sometimes students get groggy throughout the day, and they just need something to boost their mood. Students are also more engaged and excited to learn when they know that they can earn a treat.

There are some tools like a timer and some conversational dice to help students build community during class and have the opportunity to talk with other students to make new friends.

Students can easily feel disconnected, but getting them to talk about low stakes topics can help them feel more connected to school and their classmates.
