This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
The snacks and technology that I have requested have already been digested by my students! I need your help in sustaining this "digestion" for them. I do personally buy the snacks for our students because they are all on the Autism Spectrum and most are from economically disadvantaged families. Therefore, many of my students won't or can't eat the free lunches at school and their families cannot afford to provide snacks or the food their students will eat. Many of my students simply go hungry during the day. My students also love STEM items; we have very few in our classroom and they are always asking for more.
The donations to this project will help my students fill a food void and an educational one too!
The snacks and lunch food will fuel their brains for advanced STEM learning and will enhance their ability to focus through their day!
