This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are in third grade and are working hard to finish the year strong! I have 40 students in my language arts class. Since the majority of my kiddos are from limited-income homes, asking them to bring supplies from home is an added burden for their families.
The supplies and snacks that I’m requesting will tremendously help motivate my students to do their best, as we work towards meeting their reading goals!
The headphones are especially needed since they have daily assignments that they need to complete and the snacks go a long way to help motivate them to meet their weekly reading goals.
