Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The requested snacks and supplies will help my high school students make it through the rest of the school year. At this time of the year, classroom supplies like pencils and pens, tissues and hand sanitizer are running low and snacks have all been eaten.

My students are learning and growing, and they often struggle to make it throughout the long day however the snacks and supplies from this project will allow my students to finish the year strong.

My students get up early and have extended days at school. Many of my students stay after school for sports, clubs, or drama rehearsals, and hunger and lack of supplies should not be the reasons why they are not able to fully participate in the school day.
