This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
STEM-Get these kids building and solving real-world problems! Please help us teach addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with crackers, fruit snacks, and mints that serve a double purpose! Kids can build the whole, remove the parts, and find the missing parts! They can add two parts together to get to the whole! They can take a scary division problem and pull out the parts to solve for the missing answer. It is incredible how much they can learn with tools-and then they get to eat it!
Please help us get mints, fruit snacks, pretzels and crackers to solve mathematical problems using the snacks as tools!
