Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our classroom loves playing sports! We are asking for two soccer balls and two footballs! After playing sports of course they will be hungry, so we are asking for various snacks. Some of the snack are popcorn, veggie chips, hot chips and more! We are also asking for storage bins to keep them in. Plates and Ziplock bags for serving them too.

Public schools do not provide snacks for students to eat in the classroom.

While our school does provide free meals to all, the students sometimes arrive late and will be hungry. Other times they do not like the food that is served in the cafeteria so they return from lunch amd are still hungry.

Our school is part of AVID, where college and career readiness is emphasized. We have multiple football team items to inspire students that are interested in sports to pursue their dreams.
