Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our students are curious, determined, and full of potential. They show up each day eager to learn, but sometimes basic needs like hygiene items or a quick snack can make all the difference in their focus and confidence. Hygiene products help them feel fresh and comfortable, while snacks give them the energy to stay engaged in class.

To help meet these needs, I am also requesting a Mini Fridge with Top Freezer.

This will allow me to safely store healthy snacks, water, and perishable hygiene items so that students always have fresh resources available when they need them. Having this fridge in the room creates a reliable way to support their well-being, making sure their basic needs are taken care of before they focus on learning. A lot of our students are in sports living in Texas with this heat it will also help them get a nice cold water bottle.

When these needs are met, our students can give their best to their learning and feel proud of themselves both inside and outside. Your support means they won’t have to worry about going without, and instead can concentrate on their goals. Together, we can help them succeed academically and feel valued every step of the way.
