This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love my students for their curiosity, resilience, and the unique energy they bring into the classroom every day. They come from diverse backgrounds and often face challenges outside of school, yet they show up with a willingness to learn and grow. Seeing them light up when a tough concept finally clicks or when they feel proud of their progress is what makes teaching so fulfilling.

The resources I’m requesting—whether it’s hands-on materials, engaging visuals, or simple classroom supplies—are all meant to support their learning in meaningful ways.

Snacks and small prizes may seem minor, but they make a big difference. Snacks help students stay focused and energized, especially during long lessons or after-school study sessions. Prizes serve as positive reinforcement, motivating them to participate, meet goals, and celebrate their achievements. These little things go a long way in building a classroom environment where students feel cared for, encouraged, and excited to learn.
