My Project

In my elementary special education classroom, many of my students have behavior goals and require positive reinforcement to help them succeed. To encourage progress, I reward my students with snacks or small prizes, such as the ones requested in this project, for reaching their daily behavior goals. Some students need these incentives multiple times a day to stay motivated, but unfortunately, our school does not provide these resources, and we are not allowed to use our teacher funds for this purpose. I also give snacks to students who need an extra snack throughout the week to take home.

Many of my students face food insecurity.

With a large caseload, providing these rewards out of pocket becomes costly. That’s why I’m asking for your help to secure snacks and prizes. These incentives play a crucial role in reinforcing positive behavior and helping my students thrive. Your support will ensure my students continue to feel motivated and celebrated for their achievements.
