This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My 4th graders are in an ICT (Integrated Co-Teaching) class located in the Bronx, NY. ICT is a setting in which general education and special education students learn together in the same environment. As a teacher in an inner-city school, my students are faced with many challenges both inside and outside of school. My goal as an educator is to provide my students with a safe, comforting and enjoyable environment when they enter my classroom. I love to help prepare my young fourth graders for success in their years to come.

My students need healthy snacks to remain focused and energized during the school day and prizes to keep them motivated.

Healthy snacks will ensure my students will be successful in the classroom because they will have brain food. We would also love to give our students prizes as classroom incentives. My students are hard working and love to get prizes each work for good behaviors, kind actions, hard work, trying their best and showing good interactions with teachers and peers.
