This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Each one of my students brings a unique set of strengths to the classroom, and it is my mission to provide them with the support and encouragement they need to thrive. In our resource room, students earn "resource room dollars" by demonstrating hard work, positive behavior, and perseverance in their learning. To reward their efforts, we have a classroom store filled with snacks and fun prizes, which they can purchase using the dollars they earn.
How These Resources Will Make a Difference:
The snacks and prizes in this project will make a tremendous difference in keeping students motivated and engaged in their learning. The variety of snacks will serve as a reward for their focus and effort, giving them a boost of energy during long learning sessions. The prizes will provide an additional layer of excitement and help build a sense of accomplishment, teaching students the value of hard work and the satisfaction of earning something through consistent effort.

Each student has their own unique learning journey, and despite the challenges they face, they show remarkable resilience and enthusiasm. This project celebrates their individual growth and achievements by providing them with a system that rewards their efforts and builds their confidence.
