This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My 16 kindergarten, first and second grade students need snacks to remain focused and energized during the school day. Snacks like these will ensure that they will be successful in school because they will have brain food!

The students in our class look forward to daily snack time as it makes them feel more content and ready to learn!

Many students experience feelings of stress, angst or lethargy when unfed. Snacks like these can help students feel more focused on their work. It will also encourage concentration and re-energize tired students.

My students also need materials for their morning work bins. Using these materials helps keep them engaged in creative, complex tasks at the start of their school day!
