Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Each year, a common occurrence is that students come into the classroom hungry, whether it be the start of the day, the middle of the day, or the end of the day. It's possible they didn't have breakfast, or lunch wasn't filling enough, or it's during our after school programs.

The problem is they're hungry enough that they can't focus on the academic task at hand.

Please consider donating to fund the snacks I know my students will love and appreciate. They will serve as breakfast as well as incentives to keep working hard in every aspect. Snacks will also be given during after school programs.

Additional incentives include lead pencils and erasable pens to keep learning fun! Rubik's cubes will be the "bigger prize/incentive" as students were very very interested in learning how to solve them last year. As a math teacher, I love seeing their logical minds work!
