This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The soccer program is designed to support students in title one schools who might not have the ability to play sports otherwise. Our program meets weekly. The students are provided with multiple snacks before and after the practice. The snacks help motivate the students to come to practice and be part of the club.

In addition to the snacks, we want to have an end of year awards ceremony that is dedicated to the success of these students both on and off the field.

These kids work hard, and they deserve to be celebrated.
