Snacks and Food for Hungry Teens

Help me give my students snacks, Ramen, compostable bowls, and chopsticks. Some of them start the day out hungry and don't have lunch at school.

My Project

It is the first week of school and I have high schoolers that are hungry. They sometimes mention they forgot breakfast or even that their stomach hurts. I want to be able to help them by giving them a granola bar or a bag of chips. I have seen kids splitting bowls of Ramen or giving bites to a friend. In that case, I would like to be able to give them their own snack or small lunch.

My goal for this project is comfort.

My goal for this project is a safe place where students can feel nurtured and comfortable. My students are kind and respectful. They come from lower-income households that are on food assistance programs. This may only help with food insecurity a little bit, but for the few that it does help, it helps a lot.
