Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As an educator, I am constantly inspired by my students' resilience, creativity, and determination. Many of them face challenges outside the classroom, yet they show up every day ready to learn and grow. I love how curious they are, how they support each other, and how they light up when they feel seen and understood.
When students are hungry and thirsty, it becomes difficult for them to focus, participate, or retain information.
By providing snacks and drinks, I can help ensure that no student has to learn on an empty stomach. Also, providing a cart to store the snacks. These resources will help create a more nurturing and equitable classroom environment where students can concentrate better, stay engaged, and feel cared for throughout the day.
