My Project

My students have adapted to the Mississippi Weather if you ask anyone.

For some years now they have experienced a variety of storm encounters.

To name a few: Hurricane Katrina almost 2 decades ago, numerous power major outages and times with storms, and the governor of MS would have to declare a state of emergency. Each of our students has a story to tell about the challenges of ongoing clean water and the need for power.

My students are eager to attend school even though power outages fluctuate and water issues continue. Storm-related power outages have frequently left schools without functioning water fountains and heating/AC. With any storm, germs, bacteria, and viruses easily grow and are disseminated throughout the school. Providing water, an air humidifier, and supplies for weather-related issues would assist in providing a clean and welcoming environment where students can breathe fresh air and have clean drinking water.

My scholars are determined to beat the odds and strive to work hard even though they have an opportunity to learn (disability-related of some sort). My scholars begin each day with the end in mind. I am in the business of providing what they need in the building to be successful at overcoming our community's foes with the infrastructure during bouts of freezing temperatures at times. So, yes indeed providing the items listed is of great need to my scholars and will aid in their will and drive to work through this thing called life. Your support will be greatly appreciated.
