Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Many of my students come from homes that have different financial demands. For some, the only meals that they get come from what they get at school. The school only provides Breakfast and Lunch. Since most of my students have food sensitivity issues, they usually don't eat some of the meals that are provided by the school.
This isn't because they are picky eaters, it is due to sensory issues related to smells and textures.
It would be nice to be able to give them snacks that they will eat. These younger students need a snack to get them through to the end of the school day.
