I teach second grade in a Title I school. Although my students may live in an impoverished neighborhood, my students are vibrant and will brighten up your day! They can be an energetic bunch! They are hard workers and love to show this to anyone who walks into our classroom or whoever they see in the hallway!
My students are an amazing group of children with different abilities and personalities.
They are busting at the seams to learn. They are excited to learn and grow.
My Project
I have a class of hungry, hungry Second Graders! My students are hungry in the morning and hungry in the afternoon!
My students' hungry bellies are distracting them from learning!
If you feed the body, you’ll feed the mind and keep the student learning until lunch time. If you've never gone hungry, it's hard to understand what it feels like to have a grumbling tummy while trying to pay attention to lessons.
The snacks we have received from previous projects have helped my students tremendously! They have been motivated to work and are staying on task. Their work is showing improvements because the snacks have been feeding their bellies and minds! Please support our class and help their learning grow with these snacks!
