Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our classroom is a therapeutic social and emotional learning environment. Many of our students are grade level K through 3rd grade. What makes our students so special is each one comes from various backgrounds; and most of our students have difficulties focusing due to behavior issues and hunger as well as the ability to stay focused. The goal for this project is to get some snacks needed to keep the flow of our classroom and engage our wonderful students in taking interest in their lessons and get them to engage in conversation and completion of their work without sleeping or feeling tired through the day.

I would like to be able to provide our students the ability to have some extra snacks and food that they will not normally be able to get at home due to economic struggles.

I would appreciate any donations in helping our class obtain a variety of different snacks to choose from.
