Snacking to Learn

Help me give my students snacks to help them learn and be successful. Many students do not have the chance to eat breakfast.

My Students

One of my schools is a Title I school where many students do not always get the opportunity to eat breakfast. While our school has breakfast for them to eat, some students are not able to go down in the morning.

If students are hungry, they are not able to learn.

When they come down to read, they have a small snack in my room to help them learn.

My Project

TES is a Title I school and many students come to school without eating breakfast. Not all of the students are able to eat breakfast at the school.

I want my learning support students to succeed and do well but if they are hungry, they will not be able to learn.

I give them a snack of pretzels and/or fruit snacks before our lessons.

We are hoping to get pretzels, pretzel rods, and fruit snacks to give to students. It will help limit out of pocket costs while giving them something small to get them through until lunch.
