Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I teach first grade in a Title I school. Although my students may live in an impoverished neighborhood, my students are vibrant and will brighten up your day! They can be an energetic bunch! They are hard workers and love to show this to anyone who walks into our classroom or whoever they see in the hallway!
My students are an amazing group of children with different abilities and personalities.
They are busting at the seams to learn. They are excited to learn and grow.

I am growing First Graders-I need to feed their minds and I need help to feed their bodies!!!
My students are getting distracted because they are so hungry! They are so hungry throughout the day-even though they get free breakfast and lunch at school. My First Graders must be going through growth spurts!
Your generous donations will provide healthy and nutritious snacks for my students! They picked the snacks out together and voted on which snacks would be healthy and yummy. These snacks will keep my students ready to learn and keep focused during the school day!
