As a teacher of elementary students, I’ve seen firsthand how much energy our young learners need to thrive. Between morning lessons, playtime, and after-school activities, their bodies and minds need proper nourishment to stay energized, focused, and engaged. However, many of my students don't always have access to healthy snacks during the school day, especially at recess or after school.
I am seeking your support to provide nutritious snacks that will keep our students fueled and ready to learn, play, and grow.
With your help, we will be able to provide snacks such as pretzels, granola bars, whole grain snacks, and other healthy options that will give our students the energy they need to succeed and stay active throughout the day. The hot chocolate and cups will be used as an incentive for students who want to be a mini-teacher and present a research project to their classmates on a topic of their own interest.
By supporting this project, you will be helping create an environment where students can focus better in class, feel more energized at recess, and have the stamina to engage fully in after-school programs. These snacks will help students develop healthy eating habits and ensure that they aren’t distracted by hunger during critical moments of their day.
