Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project aims to allow student's in my ELL Special Education Self-Contained class to achieve success beyond what others see. My students all come from low income homes where we need support in every aspect. Students often don't eat breakfast and go all day without eating. This can cause them to become irritable and tired. Learning on an empty stomach affects their ability to concentrate and retain new information. This project aims to provide students with the fuel necessary to aid them in learning while also providing storage containers for storing all the snacks.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
