Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our school serves scholars who do not bring snacks from home due to the difficult time families have in providing for their kids. These snacks will be given to students when they are hungry and need a snack. When students come to school without a snack, they are hungry and lose focus because of how hungry they are. I want to ensure that every scholar has a safe, healthy, fair start to their day. The snacks will support my students in their learning because they will be fed and not distracted by hunger. Help me make a difference in the lives of my scholars.
