My Project

As a 4th-grade classroom teacher, I am reaching out to you with heartfelt gratitude and an urgent request. Our school, a Title 1 institution, serves a diverse community of students, many of whom face economic challenges. These young minds arrive at school each day eager to learn, but hunger often stands in their way. Our school provides breakfast and lunch, but the gap between meals can be long.

Snacks play a crucial role in helping our students stay focused and engaged throughout the day.

When their tummies are full, they can concentrate better, participate actively, and absorb the knowledge we share. Imagine a child trying to learn math or read a story while their stomach grumbles—it’s a tough battle. But with your support, we can change that.

By contributing to our snack fund, you’ll directly impact the lives of my students. These snacks will be available during morning hours for those who may have missed breakfast at home. Additionally, during snack time, when some students cannot bring their own snacks, we’ll ensure they have something to munch on. Your generosity will empower our students to focus on learning, acquire essential skills, and thrive both academically and socially.
