Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This year all Kindergarten students have their lunchtime at 12:20 p.m. That is a long time for a 5 or 6-year-old to wait to eat a meal. Half of my students do not bring in a snack to curb their appetite in the morning. When my students have a snack they are more engaged in learning and enjoy school a little bit more.

About 1/4 of my class brings in a snack from home.

With your donation, I will be able to provide a snack for students who do not bring a snack from home.
