I am lucky to teach 17 wonderful kindergarten students in a small, rural community in Florida. My school is a Title I school, with 100% of students receiving free breakfast and lunch. Despite the challenges that my students face outside of the classroom, they are hard working and eager to learn each and every day. From the minute they walk in my door, I focus on their potential and growth while they are with me. I love teaching kindergarten and I want my students to love learning!
My Project
When my kindergarten students are hungry, it is very difficult for them to learn. This project will provide a variety of snacks for my students so they have the energy and nutrition needed to stay focused and on-task during the instructional day. Assorted snacks such as Welch’s Fruit Snacks, Rice Krispies Treats, Austin Cookies and Crackers, Nabisco Cookies, etc. will be made available for them to enjoy either for a mid-morning snack or during our afternoon snack time.
Please support snack time and help me provide some yummy snacks for my little ones so they can focus on learning and do their very best.
