They love the new additions to our class, the flexible seating (bean bags) and a new group table! They see it as fun and they have to earn the flexible seating over a week span. This not only benefits their behavior, but gives them something to look forward to every week. Earning the beanbags are not always easy...but with earning them they are learning how to control their behavior/actions, responsibility in taking care of the bean bag, and sharing every week during flexible seating rotations. The table we wanted was damaged during shipping, so I was able to order another table instead that I thought would benefit our classroom further. The newest kidney table allows me to pull more small group opportunities for intervention or working on any new or old skills that need to be targeted.\r\n\r\nStudents use the new group table daily with me and have a week on with the beanbags. They were so excited to see/have the beanbags in our room. They look forward to earning a bean bag every week. When they first saw these materials, naturally everyone wanted one. With that being said we still had to share and learn how to treat the new furniture in our room.","fullyFundedDate":1726759107071,"projectUrl":"project/flexible-seating-and-focused-learning/8521361/","projectTitle":"Flexible Seating and Focused Learning","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Stanford","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-4_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9110866"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_46264","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":780,"numTeachers":58,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":34,"percentWhite":34,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":24,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"13.4:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"RURAL","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_REMOTE"},"inStateSupporters":41.9,"schoolId":46264,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Hamilton County Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Hamilton County Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/florida/hamilton-county-school-district/north-hamilton-elementary-school/46264"}
