Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My sixth-grade students are bright, curious, and eager to learn, but many face challenges outside of school that may impact their ability to access nutritious food. By providing them with healthy snacks, we can ensure that they have the energy and focus they need to succeed in their academic endeavors.

The aim for this project is to provide my students with nutritious and energizing snacks to support their learning and overall well-being.

By offering students a variety of snacks such as granola bars, crackers, and fruit snacks, we can ensure that every student has the fuel they need to focus, participate actively in class, and perform their best academically. State testing is around the corner, and if students don't fuel their minds with nutritious snacks, then they will not perform their best.
