Snack Packs for Students for Students at BGW

Help me give my students the opportunity to stay engage with learning because they have snacks to provide fuel to get their learning done!

My Project

I work in a Title 1 school. Meaning that students that attend my school are below the national poverty marker. So many of my students rely on school to get one of their basic needs met! So providing students with snacks in order to combat hunger is the goal for the snack pack.

When students have enough food to provide energy to be engage with learning they tend to be more alert and have better attitudes toward learning.

Students are less likely to engage in negative activities and are able to make positive choices for the fact that they are not worried about where their last meal is coming from.
