My Project

Working with students with autism, snacking is a major motivator for most them. When they are able to snack, it creates more focus in them as they feel more satisfied. They also enjoy breaking for their snack as they work so hard to learn every day.

Most of my students come in everyday with no snacks.

On most days, I must provide them with something to eat during snack time. This becomes costly for me but I do not want my students to not have anything for snack.

As you can imagine, all desks need to be wiped down before and after snacking so antibacterial wipes are necessary as well! My students know the snack routine, their desks are wiped down prior to snack, hands are washed, and they enjoy their snack. After snack is finished their desks are wiped down again.
