This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Snacks are a way of connecting to my kids. It is not simply food that fills their stomach, it is also a way of seeing that their teacher cares about them. Whenever I can, I store some snacks in my classroom just in case a student is hungry. I also make use of these snacks as "rewards" for their hard work and job well done in the classroom.
