This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Many of my students are often hungry throughout the day or come in too late to get a hot breakfast. My goal is to stock the snack cart so that students will have access to a quick snack that will give them the brain power to continue learning.
Studies show that you can’t learn effectively on an empty stomach.This project will give them access to a variety of snacks they enjoy to help fuel their learning.
Many of my kiddos have been struggling with finding something that they enjoy eating. This leads to a difficult time learning. Please help them have access to many more choices to help them get through the day. It’s truly amazing how a little treat makes such a big difference.
