Help me give my students breakfast and snacks so they don't have to fear food insecurity.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our school is in the inner city and the majority of the students come from low-income families that qualify for free meal plans. We have come back to school to do in person learning and we are currently adjusting and understand what we need to help students become successful.
My students are hardworking students who persevere despite any challenges they are faced with at school or in their personal lives.
I love how my students are resilient and love participating in my class. A normal day in my class would be students collaborating with each other, explaining to each other strategies in math, and having sophisticated debates about science claims.
My Project
I teach in a school where more than 95% of students qualify for free or reduced-price lunch. We have a student store where students are able to purchase food and water but many of my students have told me that they simply do not have the money to purchase from the store.
Since the beginning of the year, I've noticed that many of my students come to school feeling very tired and hungry because they have not eaten breakfast yet.
I have given my students my breakfast sometimes but there is always more than one student who has not eaten breakfast yet. With this project funded, students no longer will have to worry about food insecurity and can focus in class after eating breakfast in class.
