My Project
My students are bright, dedicated, and driven. They face many obstacles outside the classroom, yet they strive to perform at their best every day. I aim to provide them with the necessary supplies, including snacks, to support their success in class.
Snacks are crucial in a high school setting as they help sustain students' energy and focus throughout the day.
Children have high metabolic needs and require consistent nourishment to remain engaged in their studies. Snacks help combat fatigue and distraction, particularly during long school hours, especially in the late morning and afternoon. Additionally, having snacks available can improve the classroom atmosphere by reducing irritability and enhancing mood, which fosters a more productive and cooperative learning environment. By addressing hunger and meeting nutritional needs, snacks play a key role in boosting students' academic performance and overall well-being. Snacks will be provided during small group instruction and stored in our classroom comfort closet for easy access as needed.
