Help me give my students a snack to curb hunger while they learn.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My school is an early-start school, and many of my elementary students begin their day as early as 6 a.m. when they board the bus from home. Often, they arrive at school without having had breakfast. While they are entitled to lunch, it is basic and doesn’t always make up for a missed dinner the night before.
Having readily available snacks in my classroom would provide my students with one less thing to worry about.
It would help them stay focused, energized, and ready to learn—ensuring that hunger doesn’t stand in the way of their education and well-being.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
