My Project
Introducing international snacks into my students’ curriculum offers a flavorful way to engage with diverse cultures. The primary goal of this project is to immerse students in the traditions and customs of various countries, using food as a gateway to broader cultural understanding. By tasting and exploring snacks from around the world, students will connect with the unique aspects of each culture, from ingredients and cooking methods to social customs and historical influences.

They bring a fresh perspective and an open-minded approach that can transform academic lessons into memorable, hands-on explorations. The integration of international snacks will spark their interest, fostering a deeper appreciation for global diversity. As they taste and discuss these foods, they will naturally engage with cultural stories and practices, making their learning experience more dynamic and impactful. This project not only enriches their understanding of different cultures but also enhances their critical thinking and empathy, preparing them to be more informed and culturally sensitive global citizens.
